No more excuses

Here I am in Sydney in an office with a beautiful view.

I randomly chose my hotel like I normally do as I almost always get it wrong, and end up being a million miles away from my client’s site, but not far enough away to get a cab or a train. However, this time, I managed to pick a hotel right across the road. I literally walk 20 meters to get to my client.

I realised that not only am I slack, but also my subconcious is too.

I was talking to a guy today who is helping me on my project. He has lost 22 kg in the last 14 weeks by exercising at the gym five days a week, and using Light and Easy pre-packaged meals.

I have to up the ante on my exercise, or I’m just wasting my time.

Sounds good o Nodster. I disagree about wasting your time but I would agree that trying by diet alone isnt efficent.

My recommendation would be to start with something benign but useful like low impact aerobics, swimming or bike riding. Exercises with a component of thumping such as jogging are detrimental to your joints and spine at the best of times and if you are trying to jog while carrying a lot of extra pounds then this is like jogging while carrying a backpack and will intensify how much damage one does.

As for living on Light and Easy meals ewwww yuk.
What I would recommend is cooking up some decent meals and then freezing some portions.

What I do re food is to spend Sunday evenings cooking. I plan what i am going to have for lunch and dinner and cook accordingly. Its amazing how easy it is to cook 2 meals at the same time.

As ever i am ready to take part in any bike rides etc or to be your personal trainer (and give you heaps of productive abuse)
