I bet the blog was deleted and a spammer came along and registered the same blogspot sub-domain. For example, this post is no longer available:
http://infosecsellout.blogspot.com/2007/07/oh-look-apple-worm.html
A spammer wouldn’t have any incentive to delete old posts and lose all the incoming link juice.
