  • Approaching Final Target

    I weighed in at 90.1 this week, a loss of 1.5kg. This brings me to within 3.1kg of goal weight. I am therefore still on track to achieve hitting maintenance and completing it within the 12 week set of coupons that I bought; I need to lose 3 kg in 4 weeks. Interestingly, I can see where there’s still more than 3kg of flab, so even though I thought that 97 kg was ridiculously light for me, I can understand why early 80s would be a non-fatty weight for me.

  • Goal Goal Goal!

    So, this morning, on my dodgy scales (which are getting less dodgy as I get lighter), I did the nude up post morning ablutions, and I hit goal! Woo hoo! I can sniff it now!

  • Down again!

    Lost 1.5kg for the week. This is a total of 24.7kg for the year, and I am now 6.6 kg off achieving goal weight. Next Monday night is my last Monday night; I am switching to Saturday mornings starting Saturday week. I will take out a 12 week membership ion Saturday week. The aim then is to have at least some of the that time (hopefully six weeks!) in maintenance. I think I will have a better idea of how realistic that aim is after Monday night. If I can maintain ~ 1kg/week then it is.

  • Last night

    I put on 0.6kg. Seems that the rest of the tubbies + Keef were MIA 🙁

    Last night would have to be the best meeting I’ve been to. Really spirited discussion, and I picked up some highly useful tips on boredom eating.

  • Weight loss

    Lost 2kg last night, and, in the process, I passed by the 20% mark inasmuch as I have now lost slightly more than 20% of my starting weight!

  • Tonight’s weigh in

    I have no idea how I will go tonight. Attempts at tracking and keeping on top of things were derailed by anniversary dinner and a one year old’s 1st b’day party (how many pts is fairy bread?)

    I am hoping for a loss, but expecting a(nother) small gain. We will see.

  • Hearty casserole

    2 onions
    2 rashers bacon
    1 kg chuck steak, cubed
    500ml beef stock (I use the ready-made one from the supermarket @ 1 point per 500 ml)
    1 small sweet potato
    2 medium poatoes
    2 Tbsp fresh thyme
    tomato paste
    chopped parsley

  • A let off?

    Only went up +0.2kg, which is often considered by yours truly as being within environmental parameters, so effectively no move, despite my week of gastronomic debauchery.

    I really felt for one person I spoke to there last night, who has started on WW AND quit smoking at the same time. Good on her, I say, (what an effort!) but it must be hard…

  • This could be ugly

    Consider the following facts:

    1. A total absence of any decent exercise since last WW;
    2. A schmooze-y work dinner on Tuesday night;
    3. Dinner out with some friends with (I only realized it later) mashed spuds with *cream* and butter
    4. Enagagement/housewarming bash on Saturday arvo for the genetically aligned, which included a piece of black forest cake, and a piece of cream sponge (not to mention chips)
    5. Some chocloate based sinning on a stressful Friday last week.

  • This little piggy had roast beef…

    Was feezing cold and windblown by the time I got hom elast night, so I knida blew out my points a bit with a couple of cheese toasties with some hunks of roast beef atop. Yum, but 10 points 🙁
