Had a small problem with dessert on Tuesday night, but other than that… I’ve been doing okay. I took a lean cuisine in today for lunch for a change.
Nice to spend less than $10 / day just going to work for once.

Well, only one blow out, and the day was today.
4 pikelets with nothing on them for breakfast (4 pts)
Then I drove to Mother’s Day. This year, it’s a feast up at Rupertswood. I am glad this is the last big thing until Dad’s b’day in August – no more excuses. Anyway, here’s the fixed menu (no choices except to not eat a particular course, which of course I didn’t take advantage of):
small bread roll (you know, the small bake-at-home style)
4 large spinach ravolis in a napolese sauce (6? pts)
roast skin-off chicken thigh on a bed of mashed potato and steamed veges (prolly 8 pts considering the serve size)
what was billed as a chestnut and something gateaux, turned out to be a chocolate mud cake with lavender chocolate sauce and whipped cream. With a strawberry. (shitloads)
An incredibly v. small and diminitative chocolate (=petit four, ~ 1pt)
coffee (0)
3 champagnes (lots)
4 glasses of water (0)
I went for a couple of short walks – the air was very stuffy as they had about 100 people in a medium sized ballroom. I earnt maybe 1 or 2 bonus points from this wander around.
That left me feeling very full, but… by 7.15 pm I was hungry again. So I nuked:
weight watchers thai curry meal (=5.5 pts)
Unfortunately, 320 grams is just not enough.
So I ate the rest of the chocolate block that Monica expertly hid. Two rows by four pieces of Dream white chocolate.
That did it.
Just to let everyone know, I’ve updated MT to the latest version, and changed a couple of things around to make it safer to use MT as per Luke’s instructions from a while ago.
However, this does mean that the URL had to change, and you may need to log on again. If anyone needs their passwords reset, please let me know via e-mail and remember it’s to vanderaj now.
thanks,
Andrew
We have a new member, Alison. She will post here soon, I hope.
I’ve also updated Paul’s weight loss stats. Mine will go up tomorrow I think.
If anyone else wants to have these done, please feed me data and I’ll create it.

Well, I am in Leeton NSW. Eating okay, but I could do better I suppose. Last night had a thai chicken thingy with green vegies which was yummie and prob. not too high in fat.
The problem is that I am taking cough syrup to suppress a nasty hacking cough I have. guess what? No food information panel! I know it contains sucrose and alchohol, but I need to count this thing properly.
I’m doing about 3 x 10 ml shots a day and have done so since yesterday afternoon. Before that I was eating Blackberry Soother lozenges at the rate of about a packet per day. I’ve given up on them as they don’t work. But not before eating three packets.
I am getting exercise though – I am walking to my client so I’m getting about 30 mins of light exercise a day. I’m not using these bonus points.
Clues?

Inger’s stats are now up as well.
Check this out:

I think it might help!
Anyway, to finish all of today off, so to speak, here goes:
1 pack of sugar free gum 1 pt (should be zero, but most people don’t eat them, nor do they get through a whole packet in a drive to work)
raisin toast 5
long black 0
small serve beef strog on mostly rice … too delicious to be anything other than around 10 points
WW bar 0.5
WW tiny meal of something vaguely like airline food 4.5
whole pack of sakatas 4
fruit muffin with smidge of butter 3 or 4 points. Delicious. Let’s call it 4.
29 points. I could feel the WW meal wasn’t going to cut it. If I’m going to have those in future, I might double them as it’ll be better than having a whole packet of sakatas and a fruit muffin to get rid of the munchies.
Well, I’ve been busy. Honest.
Monday 27.5 points (tracker is at home, doh!)
Tuesday 25 points (ditto)
Wednesday:
two WW bars 3 points
earl grey tea
pasta with tomato based sauce and greek salad 6 pts
lots of sugar free gum 1 pt – I ate lots and lots
earl grey tea
low fat mini-pizza 10 pts (i ate the entire thing, 270 gm)
2 mini-crunchies (any ideas? – they’re like 12 gm each)
Today so far:
1 pack of sugar free gum 1 pt
2 slices raisin toast with a smear of butter 5 points
black coffee
Okay, the stats are in, and Paul is likely to make BMI 25 (around 90 kg) first… around May.
Tells me it’s time to put down the Tim Tams, crack open the unused tracker and start tracking.
