I’ve jumped back on the wagon, rejoining WW during their free DVD and joining fee period.
I’m going to the Werribee meeting as I found Moonee Ponds too difficult to attend. Why not the city or somewhere closer to where I work? The city is awfully difficult for me to get to during business hours. There are no meetings in easy reach of the Docklands without getting in the car, so I may as well head towards my place.
There are two choices: the Hoppers Crossing meeting on Wednesday evening or Werribee on three evenings. I know me. I need a choice of evenings to go, or else I will fall off the wagon. So it’s Werribee.
The leader is this lady who’s only done WW once. She made it in that one hit. I think that should make you ineligible, as I know ALL the recent WW programs dating back to the early 1990s. I think if you try and fail, you have more of a world view similar to the rest of the poor suckers at the meeting, who have never been at the right weight for their entire adult lives. I can’t remember ever being thin.
The meeting is currently populated by a mad Irish family. There’s this old geezer, his wife, daughter (I think) in her early 40’s, and sundry relatives. They all come in shorts or “interesting” dresses and thongs. Scary family. They also play WW like I do – how many lemmings can you kill and still lose weight. There’s also this gorgeous red head, but she’s married. Still, there’s talent in the room, and if they lose weight, many would be hotties.
I’ve got a shiny new book, sadly without any stars. Time to get more!

That is good news. I have been going to the Altona WW at 7 on a Thursday night.
Why eat food when you can sit on food.
